Welcome to St. Peter Lutheran, "the friendliest little church in the country". If you enjoy the beauty of a rural setting (see the pictures page), gardening, agriculture, deer/pheasant hunting or the down-to-earth values of a small, rural congregation, then you'll need to check out St. Peter.
We have Sunday school for children and a lively adult bible study. One of the three weekly worship services features dialog in worship, another a more traditional liturgical service, and a third, an off-site setting for those
who find the steps of our beautiful field-stone church too much to negotiate.
We present two yearly dramatic portrayals of the Bible's message at Christmas, and again in the Lenten/Easter Season. Some of the features of our congregation that we feel are unique include a strong tradition of lay preaching,
a summer bicycle trip for families, a quilting group that consistently places at the top of the Lutheran's Outdoors annual quilting competition, and numerous pot-luck, fellowship dinners during the year.
St. Peter is a lively fellowship for families who are excited about the adventure of God's Word and what it means for daily life. We invite you to join us during one of our worship services, Bible studies, and fellowship activities.
