June 14th, Opening the Time Capsule
June 19th, Setting up the Tent
We set up the 30'x60' tent, with a lot of hard work, then we
had all the chairs and tables to set up for 200 plus people. Thanks
for your help!
June 20th, Saturday Events
We had perfect weather for our afternoon and evening
outdoor events. Horse and buggy rides, volleyball, waterslide, potluck
supper, and finally the campfire.
June 21st, Sunday Events
It was a damp day, but it didn't dampen the spirits
of the friends and family of St. Peter. We had coffee and services
in the morning, then a fine catered meal donated in the memory of Isabelle
Hetland, followed by a play written and directed by Elaine Jorgenson,
former pastors comments and memories, music by the choir, puppets for the
kids, followed by anniversary cake and coffee.
Thanks
to all who came and made our weekend so much more special and a special
thanks to the many volunteers who worked so hard to make it such a
memorable weekend.
